Description
The Kyrie of Hassler’s late 16th century Missa Secunda showcases the polyphony he was known for. As with all BMC pieces, this has ample rest for the higher voices, plenty of action for the tuba, and it provides a stylistic and musical challenge while remaining physically light on the chops. This is a great filler piece for any style of program.
